momentary lapses in sanity

this weekend i found a beautiful betsey johnson dress for £30! & 2 vintage tea dresses & a fancy silk dress i have no occassion to wear to but it was beautiful, fit like a glove, cheap & the woman in the shop was too wonderful to me not to purchase! so much for clearing out space. unless i begin my ultimate dream aka replace 80% of wardrobe with 40% worth of better, new items. hmm. we had a bbq for hayley leaving yesterday which was awesome, loads of old faces, good food & drink. spent today in a hammock in the garden/playing with my cat & dog. i shouldn't be so critical of kent, sometimes life is much simpler here anyway. essentially, my friends are the best & now i'm only spending 3 days with them because i'm a moron. if i won loads of money i'd buy houses for all my favourites near to each other in brighton & life would be perfect. it's the stuff of my 'wishing everyone lived in my neighbourhood so i could knock for them after school' childhood dreams.
