The hooligans and hoydens we once were, now feeling somehow at home in the world. Blazing and whatnot.

8 Sept 2010

Eliza-Joyce updated her current city to Adelaide, South Australia.

i'm here! it took 2 flights, 3 different time zones, 6 hours + 11 hours + 6 hours + 8.5 hours. and emptying the entire contents of all my suitcases at customs. how did they know i love embarrassment?
or in my eyes, it took sushi, a long goodbye with my parents, a super special aeroplane playlist, cemetry junction, two episodes of peep show, a cat nap, one episode of curb your enthusiasm, people watching in hong kong airport, starbucks, kick ass, solitaire, hot tub time machine & two episodes of satc.
i arrived in the morning and had to force myself to stay awake all day so essentially did not sleep for three days. today i woke up at 6am. clearly my sleeping pattern will take a while to sort itself out.
my aunt and uncle are the best, their house is beautiful. i went for the longest walk today, sunshine, exotic birds & palm trees. yum.

i'm tired now though, it's 5am for my friends. i'm going to eat lemon sorbet & watch the rest of season 1 of the sopranos. and quite possibly cat nap. mmmmmm.

  2. so good, i wish i was adriana! i went through STA travel, it was like 950 for an open return :/:/ which apparently is meant to be cheap.. i guess it depends on what time of year it is & stuff! unfortunately i've only made friends with animals so far but it's not bothering me too much!xx
